PARTYOF2 shows what it really means to party at the echo

Setting the stage at The Echo on Jan 28th, PARTYOF2 sets the bar high for what it means to party. The hip hop duo is comprised of SWIM and Jada, two childhood friends. Alongside them was opener, detahjae, and dj, SOUNDBWOY. In the cozy space of The Echo, SOUNDBWOY started with a euphoric set hyping up the audience to a level I do not often see. From the first few minutes everyone was already moving all around showing their excitement for what was to come.

Detahjae was next up with his bouncing off the walls stage presence. Everyone in the audience could tell how much it meant to him that he was opening for PARTYOF2 and how fun of an ambience the night already had. His transition to a calm slow melody as his set progressed did not act to lower the mood. As a result he roped in all kinds of listeners into participating in the atmopshere. When his set was over nobody could wait much longer for the start of the party.

It is not a party until PARTYOF2 says it is. Before they came on stage the audience had to be tested. Tested to see if we were really ready for our minds to be blown. The sold out show blew my mind with how active the audience was. There was not one person I saw not breaking moves out on the floor or without their hands in the air. Once the party was started the mood was only on the up as PARTYOF2 played an awesome set with popular songs from their newest album like FEEL LOVE, FRIENDLY FIRE, JUST DANCE 2, and many others. They ended off with the absolute crowd favorite POSER.
