Hilary Duff announces new album -her first full-length body of work in ten years (+ new tour!)

Hilary Duff has finally returned to music!

After a decade-long hiatus, Hilary Duff announced the release of her sixth studio album, officially titled (in ever-trendy all lowercase) “luck …or something”, will be released Friday February 20, 2026.

The former Disney Channel star already dropped said album’s lead single, the aptly-titled “Mature”, in early November.

“luck …or something” is scheduled to be released through Sugarmouse, Inc. under exclusive license to Atlantic Records (part of Warner Music Group). While definitive producer(s) can’t be confirmed at press time - just based on “Mature” songwriting credits alone and per genius.com - it appears Brian Phillips and Matthew Koma (Duff’s husband) will be involved with the album’s production. At this time, an official track list has yet to be released. “luck …or something” will be issued in the following music formats: streaming, CD, vinyl and cassette.

Last time the former “Lizzie McGuire” star put out an album was 2015 with “Breathe In. Breathe Out." Duff’s music return also follows her previous studio albums: 2007's "Dignity," 2005's "Most Wanted," 2004's "Hilary Duff", 2003's "Metamorphosis” and 2002’s “Santa Clause Lane”.

But wait, there’s more! In addition to a new album, Duff also announced a tour. Titled “Small Rooms, Big Nerves” Tour, it will see Duff performing: two USA dates, one UK venue in addition to a performance in Ontario, Canada. While the tour itself is - at this time - short (spanning January 19, 2026 through January 29, 2026), Millennials can still get a chance to catch their favorite noughties idol in person!
