“god forbid…” LØLØ announces her second album + new tour!
Canadian pop-punker LØLØ has announced that her sophomore album (stylized in still-trendy all lowercase), “god forbid a girl spits out her feelings!”, will be released Friday, April 17, 2026, via independent label Fearless Records (distributed by Concord). The 28-year-old, born Lauren Mandel, took to Instagram to reveal the album track list. Consisting of 13 songs, it includes the previously-released singles, “The Devil Wears Converse”, “American Zombie”, “Me with no shirt on”, and “007”.
“god forbid…” follows LØLØ’s 2024 debut album, “falling for robots and wishing I was one”. Additional work by Mandel includes her 2019 independently released “sweater collection” EP (released via Flying Colours Music, Inc.), 2021’s “overkill” EP, and 2022’s “debbie downer” EP (the latter two projects being released through independent label Hopeless Records). 2022’s EP saw LØLØ collaborate with fellow singer Maggie Lindemann on the track of the same name.
In support of her new album, LØLØ also announced a tour. The cheekily titled “god forbid a girl goes on tour!” will see the Canadian rocker visit numerous European countries as well as the UK. At press time, no North American dates have been announced (it’s unclear if North America will be included at all). In the meantime, the Europe /UK tour begins April 25th in Vienna, Austria -concluding May 13th in Birmingham, UK.
