There Are No Easy Answers on Megan Scott’s debut ep “Why Do We Keep Trying”

Megan Scott, a 21 year old small artist based in the United Kingdom, has recently started her journey of making music. She’s an incredible singer and songwriter, but also an amazing role model for younger people. In her songs, she belnds raw emotion with reletable storytelling. Taking inspiration from artists such as Tate McRea, Olivia Rodrigo, Alessi Rose and Erin LeCount, she crafts songs that capture the highs and lows of heartbreak, growing up and self-discovery. Her voice is both vulnerable and powerful, which is perfect for her pop tracks that feel very intimate and personal.

Megan’s debut EP “Why Do We Keep Trying?

Megan Scott’s debut EP “Why Do We Keep Trying?” came out on March 27th, 2026, and it left the fan base speechless. The EP contains five songs, three of which were released before the main release. The songs are put in a way to when listened to in order, they tell a heartbreaking story.

This EP is full of emotions that everyone’s felt at one point in their life, such as love, anger, longing, and yearning. From lyrics like “lowkey I’m obsessed, got your name running in my head” from her song “Lowkey Obsessed”, to lyrics like “let it go up in flames” from Megan’s “Watch It Burn”, we follow a tragic story of falling in and out of love.

After listening to this project multiple times, I am now sure that soon enough, everyone will know who Megan Scott is. EVen though she has just recently started making and writing music, she’s already has all that it takes to be a main pop girl anf this EP just proves of what she’s capable of doing.
