GALLERY: a rush of nostalgia with aly & aj

The sister duo, Aly & AJ, are not strangers to the kids of the early 2000s. Stars of the 2006 Disney Channel movie, Cow Belles, and singers of iconic songs like “Potential Breakup Song” and “Rush,” these girls are filled with talent. They took the stage at the renowned Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY after the crowd was pumped up by NY native, Sofia D’Angelo.

Aly & AJ delivered an incredible set that blended their classic hits with newer material, showcasing both their growth and signature sound. Their stage presence stood out, highlighted by coordinated guitar moments, a variety of instruments, and genuine crowd interaction. One of the most memorable parts of the night came when AJ recognized someone in the audience as their waiter earlier that day at Bartaco, a popular Mexican street food spot for locals. They closed the night with an encore of “Potential Breakup Song,” bringing the entire theater to its feet as fans jumped and shouted every word - an electric ending to a nostalgic and high-energy performance.
